Eternals' Salma Hayek says she and Chloé Zhao had a ‘serious fight’ over the script: 'People were nervous I was going...'

Salma Hayek will debut as a superhero in the upcoming Marvel Eternals movie. Directed by Oscar-winner Chloé Zhao, Salma will appear as Ajak in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Salma was excited to play the role, she admitted that she had problems with the script and got into a serious fight with Chloé.

Salma revealed, in a recent interview, that the fight occurred at the actor's home and that people who heard "the fight" were concerned that Salma would be fired from the film.

"I had some issues with the script and we got into a serious fight at my house. We were excited. And she was like, 'No, but that's not the way I designed it. People outside my house called it a fight because we were yelling. For a long time. People outside were so nervous they were going to fire me, "she told Elle.

However, both women liked their conversation. "I went out and said, 'Wow, I love her brain!' That was the best creative conversation I had with a director in my life, and I felt the same way. She said, 'Wow! That was amazing. It was just complete freedom. We found a middle ground. While we were finding it, we came up with other ideas. "It was very exciting," he added.

The Eternals held their world premiere in Los Angeles, USA Salma attended the premiere with her daughter, Valentina Paloma Pinault. She alongside Angelina Jolie, Don Lee, and Kamil Nanjiani are among the other cast members of Eternals.
